# Fees

### Protocol Fees

Exit Tech applies a **10% protocol fee** on all vested assets at the time they are claimed. This fee supports the platform's long-term sustainability and aligns incentives for all participants.

### Fee Distribution

Before the Token Generation Event (TGE), all protocol fees are directed to the **Bonsai DAO treasury**. After the TGE, Exit Tech will operate as its own DAO, and fees will remain in the Exit Market treasury to fund growth, development, and community initiatives.

### Lower Your Fees

Users can also **reduce their protocol fees** by participating in the Referral Program. By referring others to Exit Tech, referrers can **lower their fees by up to 10%**, creating an additional incentive to contribute to the platform’s growth.
